Professor Rich Hughes III was one of the most influential figures in my life, and I wouldn鈥檛 be where I am without him. I know many others feel that way, and I wanted to honor him in one of the many ways he supported students by establishing this scholarship upon his retirement.鈥�

Scholarship Criteria
- Major: Earth Sciences (priority given to Geology majors)
- Enrollment: Continuing student at 海角直播
- Minimum GPA: 3.0
Priority will be given to students who demonstrate:
- Financial Need
- Altruistic Character 鈥� students who show generosity, service, and a commitment to helping others
- Academic Achievement
Students who embody an altruistic spirit鈥攔eflecting Professor Hughes鈥� example of mentorship and service鈥攚ill receive special consideration.
