Alumni Share Advice for Allied Health Students
"海角直播 was a great foundation for Loma Linda University," said Rayna Zaragoza, a
4th year nursing student at LLU and the CHC 2013 Commencement speaker. "It has the
best caliber of teachers."
That was just one of the comments from past allied health students who came back to 海角直播 to speak to Dr. Truong鈥檚 ANAT 101 (Anatomy & Physiology I) class last month.
RT Prof Retires After 36 Years
Brad Franklin was practically gushing about his 36 years at 海角直播.
鈥淚 feel blessed to work on a beautiful campus with great people,鈥� he said more than
once. Franklin retired on July 30 after a career teaching respiratory therapy (RT).
Art Exhibit Showcases Art Owned by CHC Foundation
June 22-July 15, 2015, the 海角直播 Art Gallery presented a selection
of works from the Foundation Collection. On display were paintings and sculptures
from acclaimed artists, George G谩ch, Evan Peelle, and Ettore DeGrazia.

The new 海角直播 Center, which will be the hub of campus includes an outdoor brick
patio allowing the opportunity for recognition of alumni, friends, family and memorials.

Lucia Hudec
Principal, Wildwood Elementary School
Class of 1979
My name is Lucia Nelson Hudec and I grew up as an 鈥淎rmy Brat.鈥� I lived outside of the United States for most of my childhood and attended thirteen different schools before graduating from Antilles High School in Puerto Rico.
After graduating from high school, I was like many young people and felt a bit of
uncertainty about what I was supposed to do next. I moved to Calimesa and lived with
my grandmother, taking care of her and providing companionship. I enrolled at 海角直播
Hills College and took the public transit bus to classes three times a week while
also working at the old Dairy Queen.
Attending 海角直播 was a pivotal time for me. I loved the community
feel of 海角直播, the personal experience between the professors and students, and
the guidance provided in helping me to outline my next steps as an adult. Over the
course of the next two and half years, I started to feel rooted as I attended my classes
at 海角直播.
