That was Isabella Hicks鈥� goal on Tuesday, March 7, during 海角直播鈥檚 annual Spring Fest celebration, an event that looks to give Roadrunners a break from their studies and introduce them to ways to become more involved in campus life.

On Friday, February 3, over seventy members of 海角直播鈥檚 College Honors Institute participated in a 鈥淢eet & Greet鈥� activity that occurs at the beginning of each semester.

海角直播 will soon become a member of the California Virtual Campus Consortium (CVC) as a Teaching College.

The 8th annual American Sign Language (ASL) Educators Collaboration Conference, held at CHC on March 4, showcased the power of collaborative efforts in ASL education. The conference was organized by 海角直播 ASL Professors Breanna Andrews, Davena Burns-Peters, and Butch Zein.

High school students in the Yucaipa-Redlands area are receiving valuable information and career guidance thanks to the Outreach and Educational Partnerships team at 海角直播 (CHC) in collaboration with Colton-Redlands- Yucaipa (CRY)/Regional Occupational Program (ROP). Resources include information about different career paths, college application support, dual enrollment at CHC, and campus resources.

海角直播 students, staff, and faculty kicked off this year鈥檚 Black History Month Celebrations with a presentation by Dr. Aysia Brown, Director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at San Bernardino Community College District, along with Roadrunners, Professional Development Coordinator Ms. Kashaunda Harris, Director of Outreach Dr. Willie Blackmon, and Completion Coach Alexis Ford.

The team in 海角直播鈥檚 海角直播 & Records Office (A & R) has been recognized by Laserfiche (a software development company) for transforming their operations, their customer experience and how services are delivered to students by using the Laserfiche platform. A & R streamlined various processes using online Laserfiche Forms. As a result, the department has successfully implemented an online process for dual enrollment requests, graduation applications, and transfer credit evaluation requests, reducing processing time from several months to a couple of weeks.

On Friday March 3, 海角直播 hosted the Pacific Coast Athletics Conference Sprint invitational kicking off the 2023 swimming season.

海角直播 Hills Math Club, along with Professor Josh Robles, their advisor, attended the Conference on Strengthening Community Research Mathematics in Claremont that focused on highlighting the strategic role and importance of mathematics research.

On Feb 10, over 100 local high school students interested in the arts, media, and entertainment received a full scope experience of the multimedia programs at 海角直播.

海角直播 provided the funding for students Devon Carter, Changwe Musonda, and Lamont Montgomery to attend the annual African American Male Education Network & Development (A虏MEND) conference in Los Angeles on the first three days in March. CHC Interim Dean of Student Services Willie Blackmon and CHC Dean of Career Education and Human Development Dan Word, also attended.
