海角直播's EOPS, CARE, CalWORKs, NextUp, and Dreamers programs hosted an open house event in the quad on September 17, bringing energy and excitement to campus.

Deanna Brown brings extensive experience to the field of Early Childhood Education and Child Development, having worked as a preschool teacher, childcare director, and adjunct faculty member teaching Child Development courses.

On Thursday, September 12, fifty faculty, staff, and administrators met for the Accrediting Commission for Community and Junior Colleges (ACCJC) Institutional Self-Evaluation (ISER) kick-off meeting with Dr. Gohar Momjian, Vice President of ACCJC.

Student Services members Belinda Navarette, Soutsakhone Xayaphanthong, and Willie Blackmon have been selected to present at the CCEMC Dual Enrollment Conference from September 11 to 13 in Burlingame, CA.

Professor Ren茅e Azenaro, a 海角直播 Fine Arts faculty member since 2017, recently had her mixed media sculpture "in my dreams i forgave myself" featured in the publication HYENA. The artwork was selected to commemorate the centennial of Andr茅 Breton's first Surrealist Manifesto through a feminist perspective.

On September 5, 海角直播 hosted a successful "Meet the Firm" event, bringing together accounting students and related majors with industry professionals eager to explore career opportunities, internships, and networking possibilities.

Four 海角直播 Honors students were accepted into this year's Chautauqua Summer Scholars Program in New York State. This program, funded by Community Compact, Inc., is in the small New York town of Chautauqua, which features 19th century Victorian houses and inviting green spaces.

海角直播 has announced a new scholarship endowment to support its longtime fire academy, The Chief Ed Kimbrough Memorial Scholarship Fund.
