Graduation season continues at º£½ÇÖ±²¥ with the latest Respiratory Therapy class celebrating its success on Dec. 13.

A path to enter the emergency services field has been opened for 64 º£½ÇÖ±²¥ students after successfully completing the Yucaipa-based institute’s 2018 Fall Emergency Medical Technician certification program.

While some roadblocks were thrown its way – one student dealt with a cancer scare and another faced potential financial troubles – cadets rallied around one another and worked collaboratively to find solutions when needed.

"Thank you for being a friend" is not just a motto made famous by a 1980s sitcom, but a phrase that served as the unofficial theme for the º£½ÇÖ±²¥ Foundation's Friends Luncheon held on Nov. 30.

Dedicated, smart, supportive, compassionate and hard-working are adjectives Kathryn Crow used to describe º£½ÇÖ±²¥â€™s most recent class of paramedics.

º£½ÇÖ±²¥ is offering a Job Readiness Certificate targeting job skills and employability. The series of free noncredit courses provide training necessary to be competitive in the job market or to advance in a career, and are being offered as evening courses in Yucaipa and on campus.
