CHC Library Hosts Third Annual Juried Art Exhibition

The CHC Library Juried Art Exhibition celebrates and supports the visual arts on campus
by showcasing the creativity and accomplishments of student artists. The third annual
exhibition was on view in the CHC Library from Oct. 13, 2025 - Nov. 21, 2025.
A reception was held on November 20, 2025, where participants were celebrated and
honors were awarded. Blick Art Materials was a sponsor of the exhibition and generously
provided gift certificates for the honorees. The 海角直播 Foundation
also supported the event by donating refreshments.
This year鈥檚 exhibition theme was Nature, inviting students to explore and interpret
the natural world. First Place was awarded to Victoria Van Hook for her evocative
piece 鈥淔or Garrett.鈥� Second Place went to Nariah Hill for the vibrant work 鈥淪ika Cherry
Season.鈥� Third Place was presented to Abigail Newhouse for 鈥淔rom a Mountain.鈥� Also,
an Honorable Mention was awarded to Olivia Papp for her striking artwork 鈥淏orn of
Soil Crowned in Light.鈥� The jurors for the exhibition were CHC faculty members Yuki
Toyooka Smith, Isidro Zepeda, and Krista Ivy.
