海角直播 EMT Program Leads HeartSaver Training for SBVC Child Development Staff
Publish Date: April 30, 2025

In a powerful demonstration of inter-campus collaboration and district-wide resourcefulness, four members of the 海角直播 instructional team鈥攖wo adjunct professors and two professional experts from the EMT program鈥攔ecently provided HeartSaver CPR training to 35 employees from San Bernardino Valley College鈥檚 Child Development Center.
海角直播 is proudly certified as an American Heart Association Training Center, allowing the college to offer life-saving certification courses at a significantly reduced cost to the District. This strategic advantage not only supports our neighboring institutions but also strengthens the overall safety and emergency preparedness of the District.
鈥淭his collaborative effort is a physical illustration of the partnership and support that exists across our district,鈥 said Amanda Ward, Interim Associate Dean of Public Safety. 鈥淚 wanted to take a moment to thank the team for the successful delivery of HeartSaver for the Valley CDC.鈥
Special thanks were extended to the instructional staff who generously stepped up two Saturdays to make this training possible, and to Ashley Bryson, who led the coordination of the project. Their dedication reflects the spirit of service that drives the EMT program, which regularly provides training and certification to major local agencies including San Bernardino County Fire.
As the Risk Safety Office undergoes a new reorganization, additional collaborative opportunities like this one are expected to grow. With the capacity and expertise already in place, 海角直播鈥檚 EMT program is well-positioned to support ongoing district initiatives while continuing to provide high-quality training to the broader community.
鈥淭his was, I hope, the first of many opportunities for our department to assist with the district鈥檚 initiatives in safety and preparedness,鈥 Ward added.
It just makes sense鈥攆or our District, for our community, and for the future.
