In March of 2025, 海角直播 celebrated Women鈥檚 History Month with a series of events and activities honoring the achievements, contributions, and resilience of women throughout history and within our own community.

This year鈥檚 theme, 鈥淢oving Forward Together! Women Educating & Inspiring Generations,鈥� highlighted the power of amplifying women鈥檚 voices and fostering a strong sense of community. Thanks to the collective efforts of many, the month was both meaningful and impactful.

Featured Events:

• Kickoff Celebration 鈥� A special video showcased women across our campus, including students, staff, faculty, and administrators.
• Guest Speaker: Ann Martgan 鈥� The Senior Manager of the San Manuel Fire Department shared her experiences navigating male-dominated fields in public safety and emergency services.
• Empowerment Through Movement 鈥� An interactive dance workshop focused on self-empowerment and expression, led by burlesque performer Lisa Swells.
• Virtual Panel: Celebrating Female Entrepreneurs & Women-Owned Businesses (3/25) 鈥� Featured Erica Horan (Happy Camper Creamery), Jessica Hernandez (Crown Promotional Groups, Inc.), Christy Cooper (Feel Good Market), and Patricia Lock Dawson (PLD Consulting).
• Movie Screening: He Named Me Malala (3/26) 鈥� A powerful documentary highlighting Malala Yousafzai鈥檚 journey as an advocate for girls鈥� education.

The month鈥檚 events brought the campus together to celebrate and uplift the voices of women, inspiring continued progress and empowerment for future generations.
