The Respiratory Care Program at 海角直播 (CHC) has been recognized by the (CoARC) by receiving its Distinguished RRT Credentialing Success Award.

This award highlights CoARC鈥檚 ongoing efforts to highlight the value of the RRT credential as a mark of professional achievement and thereby motivate students 鈥渢o reach their highest educational and professional aspirations鈥� (https://coarc.com/about/awards-and-scholarships/).

CoARC鈥檚 recognition is based on several key accreditation metrics documented in the 2023 Annual Report of Current Status (RCS). Programs selected for this honor have met the following rigorous criteria:

  1. Three or more years of outcomes data
  2. Accreditation without a progress report at the end of the year
  3. RRT credentialing success of 90% or above
  4. Meeting or exceeding established CoARC thresholds for TMC high cut score and retention (TMC is the Therapist Multiple-Choice (TMC) Examination.)

CHC鈥檚 respiratory care program has for many years been recognized as a top career/technical program in California. Last November a four-member team of CHC respiratory care students won the state championship in the humorously titled 鈥淪putum Bowl鈥� completion and went on to place third overall in the national event.
