One Book/One College at 海角直播 Hills is a college-wide reading initiative with the main purpose of bringing together the 海角直播 Hills campus community through the reading of a common book focused on equity and inclusion. This year, students, faculty, staff, and administrators will select and read a common book. The One Book/One College task force in collaboration with the Professional Development committee will hold a series of free events to encourage college-wide conversation, creativity, and community.

The group has received nominations and will be selecting a book based on the following criteria: Addresses issues of equity and inclusion, is relevant to the current CHC student population, inspires critical dialogue and an opportunity to test one鈥檚 own ideas, is interdisciplinary, has a message that can develop empathy, can build community amongst students and staff, and is accessible.
