An Evening with Brett Waterman and Celebration of 100 President鈥檚 Circle Members
Publish Date: Dec. 14, 2021

The 海角直播 Foundation presented an evening with Brett Waterman on November 4. The dinner event was held specifically for the CHC Foundation鈥檚 President鈥檚 Circle donors and their guests.
Waterman, host of the DIY Network program Restored, brings new life to historic homes in Redlands and throughout Southern California. The show follows individual restorations of old homes and captures the stories of the owners as their properties are renovated. Each home is updated to showcase its original charm, which is often buried beneath poorly done repairs and unsightly additions.
The evening featured a conversation with Waterman and the college鈥檚 president, Dr. Kevin Horan.Waterman shared his journey to the show and his love of preservation, architecture, and history. Several of the guests had personal knowledge of homes Waterman has featured, and the question- and-answer portion of the program was lively, with laughs and interactions amongst guests.
At the end of the evening, Dr. Horan thanked President Circle members for their investment in the College and announced that the group had just added its 100th member. Each year President鈥檚 Circle members support the 海角直播 Foundation with an unrestricted $1,000 donation. The membership has tripled under Horan鈥檚 leadership, with just 33 members in January of 2019, when Horan became president.
鈥淭hese funds play a vital role in supporting the College and we are so grateful for your continued support,鈥 Horan stated. 鈥淵our membership in the President鈥檚 Circle provides maximum flexibility in helping to meet our current priorities and needs.鈥
