海角直播 Celebrates National Student Parent Appreciation Month

On September 23, the Extended Opportunity Programs & Services (EOPS) Department at 海角直播 hosted Little Hands, Big Creations, a family-friendly arts and crafts event open to the entire campus. In recognition of September as National Student Parent Appreciation Month, the EOPS Department invited families to enjoy a free meal, listen to fun music, and get creative together.
Attendees received 海角直播-branded canvas tote bags to paint and decorate with their own unique designs. Children eagerly showed off their colorful creations, with some proudly sharing that they planned to use their bags to trick-or-treat on Halloween . One grandmother joined her student daughter and grandson, explaining that she is a 海角直播 alum and so she was excited to come back to campus for the event.
鈥淭his celebration will now be held annually,鈥� said Amity Lodevico, EOPS Student Services Coordinator. 鈥淓OPS is excited to share that this is one of many events geared toward celebrating student parents, as we have additional events planned for the upcoming spring semester.鈥�
