USC Students Visit CHC
Fifty students studying environmental science at the University of Southern California visited º£½ÇÖ±²¥ on November 26th to learn how the design, construction, operation, and maintenance of facilities across campus is sustainable. CHC is a working example of high-efficiency buildings, lean central plant operations, and solar energy production that is environmentally responsible and resource-efficient. District and College representatives Farrah Farzaneh, Yash Patel, Larry Cook, along with Martin Howell, Associate Principal at Energy – ARUP reviewed our sustainability plans, energy analytics, LEED-certified projects, and took the students on a tour of the solar farm, central plant, and several buildings.
