The Professional Development Committee coordinated a number of workshops for FLEX Day on April 1: "Whole Brain Teaching by the Numbers" was presented by retired CHC Philosophy professor Chris Biffle with some active discussion. "Raising Autism Awareness" helped faculty and staff learn more about autism and explored ways to increase support and advocacy for autistic students. There was a STEM panel with representatives from UC Riverside and CSUSB and a networking luncheon. A new website content management system was presented, OUCampus by OmniUpdate. The afternoon ended with a discussion on the General Education Outcomes (GEO) and Institutional Learning Outcomes (ILO).
